Amsterdam Acrylic Transparent Gesso Amsterdam Acrylic Transparent Gesso gives you a perfect base for your fine art work, by increasing the stability and adhesion, without changing the color of the surface. This clear primer is great for use on wood panels if you want to retain the wood grain. Gesso can be thinned with water and applied either in thin layers or one thick layer to create more texture. Size: 250 ml This transparent gesso can be used to create the perfect background for your work. Mix it with your favorite acrylic color and the color will stay virtually the same as it is in the tube, but with the added benefits of the gesso. Transparent gesso can also be used on its own to incorporate the surface you’re working on into your artwork. This acrylic primer is suitable for use on absorbent grounds that are free of dust and grease, such as artists’ canvas, wood, plywood, hardboard, and cardboard, as well as paper. This gesso is also a suitable foundation for murals.
