It is an all natural product and is food-safe, as well. It's super rich and great smelling formula helps put a water-resistant layer on your gear. You can leave it as is, or buff it to a shine. We use it on all wood and metal items we ship. Why? Water! That's what ruins metal, wood, and leather. Plus, we have tested it on cotton waxed canvas. It's great for touching up scuffs, tears, and holes. Just rub it on and use a hair drier or heat gun to melt it in. Axe Wax is made in the U.S.A and is a family owned small business. You can't go wrong with this product. Axe Wax is sold in a 2 oz. tin, which also makes a great char-cloth tin when it's used up.
