DetailsAdding a layer of polyester batting to a foam cushion creates a soft, plump cushion. It also helps to round the edges for a great looking pillow. Batting also helps fill in any gaps between the foam and cushion cover. Cut the batting with a 1-inch overlap on all sides. The overlap will help round the edges of the cushion for a nice, smooth appearance once the cushion cover is on. Make sure you only wrap the batting around the top, bottom, and one side of the foam. Keep the other side clear for the zipper. You don’t want the batting getting caught in the zipper teeth when opening and closing the cushion cover.To glue the polyester batting to the foam, you need a good spray adhesive.
