Finishing presses are intended to clamp books in place such that they can then be hacked by hand, trimmed with the plow, lettered or decorated, etc.The wooden jaws of this press are made from stock that is 3" x 1.5" in size. Press can be fully disassembled by removal of a set screw for compact storage and transportation.
