Knitting for Olive Compatible Cashmere is an ultra soft and exclusive yarn in 100% Cashmere. Compatible Cashmere can be knitted as a second strand, as an alternative to Mohair. The yarn can also be knitted on its own on 3mm needles using double strand. The Cashmere Wool originates from China and Mongolia and the yarn is produced in Italy. The spinning mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals. Fiber Content: 100% Cashmere Weight: Lace Gauge: 22 sts = 4 inches with US 4 - 3.5 mm needle Weight/ Yardage: 25g/164 yards/150 meters Country of Origin: China/Mongolia Hand washing with wool specific soap is recommended. Lay Flat to dry. The garment should be washed separately. For machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Centrifuge well and dry the garment flat, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
