This Electrode Polishing Kit contains various polishing materials for routine cleaning, thorough cleaning and re-polishing for disk electrodes. Application Note: Routine cleaning performed before every use Remove the backing and stick the microcloth pad to glass plate; the pad can be re-used only with the same type (particle size) of alumina suspension; Dispense a few droplets of alumina suspension 0.05 µm; Polish the electrode surface while keeping the electrode surface parallel to the surface of the pad. Make a figure-8 pattern while slowly turning the electrode around its own axis; Clean the electrode using brush and soap; rinse the electrode and the microcloth pad thoroughly with water. Thorough cleaning performed when the disk surface loses its shine and becomes dull remove the backing and stick the nylon pad to any flat surface; the nylon pad can be re-used with any type (particle size) of alumina suspension; Dispense a few droplets
