A sustainable bean filling for our Koskela bean bags - Koskela has teamed up with Envee Beans - Australia’s first plant-based filling material. After years of hunting for a sustainable alternative to polystyrene beans that meets both our environmental and functional standards, we are happy to announce a collaboration with Envee Beans. Envee Beans produce 80% fewer greenhouse gases than regular polystyrene beans during production. Designed to be full circle, the beans can be returned to the earth at the end of their lifecycle. As they’re bio-based, the beans will compost into a valuable humus which can be used to grow new plants and crops.
