Iris Bookcloth for Bookbinding

DescriptionAn elegant cloth made of 100% rayon with a silky sheen and excellent durability. An excellent bookcloth for all types of work and applications requiring a linen feel and brilliant range of colors. Accepts both hot foil and blind stamping, offset and screen printing, die cutting, and folding. 53" wide material. This cloth is manufactured with much care and as environmentally friendly as possible. The lining paper is acid-free and has been bleached without chlorine. In the production process there is no use of solvents, PVC or formaldehyde. Manufactured under environmental management system fulfilling the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001. Please note that a few years ago the Iris black #826 dying process was changed. The result has been a warmer black (redder). Another alternative for those wanting the cooler Black would be the Cialux Black #1581. We now stock Iris in 39" (1 meter) width in both the 817 Coffee and the 826 Black. Full bolts only.
