Tips for Use

Due to the height of the posts we do not recommend using the snaps on material thicker than 8mm
Be gentle!Do not hammer using full force in order to avoid deformation
If the material is too hard to punch a hole through using the provided punch, use a heavy duty leather punch instead

Installation Instructions and Tips

STEP 1

Lay out the top and bottom caps, sockets, and studs
Get a small hammer or mallet ready

STEP 2

Punch a hole into the leather using the punch tool and hammer

STEP 3

Push the cap post through the hole
Place the socket into the cap post

STEP 4

Hammer the cap using the pointy setter to secure the cap and sockets

Punch another hole into the leather using the punch tool and hammer

STEP 6

Push the male stud through the hole and push the male cap into the post

STEP 7

Hammer in the cap with the concave setter to lock the cap and stud
Your button is ready!

STEP 8

All done!
