They make it easy to raise materials too thick for use with the crumb tray but too thin to engrave as-is. Why print three of each size instead of four? Three-point supports are inherently stable, while four points can easily introduce a wobble. If you prefer more support, why not print extras? These supports are perfect for using up PG scraps.
