What extreme gloss actually means; I don’t know. My guess is that you can expect your surface to have a noticeable shine to it. A few of us did a smell test and Kyle had an interesting observation. He described the scent of this stuff as a “solvent-y” smell. I agree. It does have a solvent smell to it. I like it. I agree with CARPRO when they say that this is the go-to metal polish for professional detailers and enthusiasts. If you want to add a shine to your exhaust, aluminum, etc. This stuff works and it's what you want. For a better than new shine, pair MetalliCut with your machine polisher and one of our polishing pads! Directions By hand: Apply a small amount of MetalliCut to a microfiber towel or wire wool depending on the metal type and goal. Using firm pressure, work MetalliCut into the metal surface until the product becomes less opaque. Use a clean microfiber towel to buff away any additional residue. Repeat steps 1-3 if necessary. By machine: Apply 6-8 drops of MetalliCut to a firm foam polishing pad. Spread MetalliCut on the surface at speed 1-2. Increase to speed 3 ~ 5 until the abrasives are broken down and a high gloss is achieved. Using a clean microfiber towel, remove excess residue. Repeat steps as necessary. By foam cone or buffing ball: Apply a liberal amount of MetalliCut to the chosen tool. Spread MetalliCut at low speed. Increase the speed of the drill and use a medium to high speed until the abrasives are broken down. Using a clean microfiber towel, remove excess residue. Repeat steps as necessary.
