A Shaker inspired rocking chair with a spindled back and curved armrests in beech and papercord seat designed by Hans Wegner in 1944 for FDB Mobler. Danish, produced circa 1950. Featuring a Beech framework with 3 ply Hemp Danish cord seat. Frame secure with no movement in the joints and very comfortable. This Danish Modern Classic has been professionally re finished which has brought out the beautiful honey coloured tones and is in good condition. The Danish cord seat shows no signs of wear or losses. A Mid century Modern design classic that has stood the test of time and will continue to be a practical timeless classic in a Modern Home. Rocking chair Weight 9.5kg.
