Titled: Osprey This piece is hand carved and individually hand printed onto archival BFK French Rives paper using black oil based Cranfield Colours ink. This piece is the fourth in my series of water birds and pairs well with Cahaba Lilies, Loon in the Cattails, Pelican in the Cove and In the Mangrove. My imagery and inspiration for this piece and a lot of my work comes from our bio diverse waterways and lakes. The Osprey lives and hunts nearby and I frequently get to see them as they fly over searching for fish. I’ve included the soft shelled turtle and a native pickerelweed that grows in our waters. Image size: 12” x 12” paper size approximately: 14” x 14’ Because of the hand printed process, each print may have slight variations making each one of a kind and unique. Each print comes titled, numbered and signed on the front. It comes to you carefully packaged and protected in tissue paper, inside a sturdy mailing tube to ensure that it arrives safely.
