The pouch has a hook & loop secured flap to provide easy access to its contents. Under this flap is both the main compartment and two skinny utility pouches. The main compartment was originally designed to store the illuminator but is also suited for maps, notepads, small binocular sets or hand cuffs for security work. On the front of this are two long accessory pouches - these are great for storing the likes of multi-tools or flash lights.
